On Tuesday 15th June at 7pm Cumbria LEA SACRE (Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education) is holding a discussion forum 'Faith & Doubt in the future' at The Shakespeare Centre, Highgate, Kendal.
Robin Richardson, Director of the Instead Educational Consultancy will speak at the meeting about issues such as social inclusion, Islamophobia, inter-faith encounters, science, religions, diversity, multi-faith values, humanism, prejudice and hope. He has been Director of the Runnymede Trust and Chief Inspector for Education in Brent. He was Editor for the Commission on the Future of Multi-Ethnic Britain, Chaired by Lord Parekh. Highly regarded as a lecturer at conferences, Robin has worked as a consultant in most western European countries, and in Australia, India, Israel, Japan, Kenya, Lesotho, South Africa and USA.
