Parents are being given the chance to let their children learn and have fun and find out more about childcare in Cumbria.
June is National SureStart month and Cumbria County Council's Libraries and Cumbria SureStart are running joint story time and information sessions.
Children can listen to simple stories and join in with favourite songs and rhymes. SureStart staff will be on hand to answer any questions parents may have about child care and local parent and toddler groups.
The story times are being held at Egremont Library on Thursday June 17, and in Cleator Moor Library on Wednesday June 23. Both run from 10.00 to 10.30 and all parents, carers and their children are welcome to attend the free sessions. Anyone wanting further information should contact Kathryn Flagner on 01946 852908.
Another story telling event taking place during Sure Start month will be held at Millom Family Centre on June 29, beginning at 1pm.
