13/05/04 - Story time for toddlers

Ulverston Library is the venue for a regular, new Story Time for children. The sessions are held every three weeks, from 2pm to 2.30pm on Monday afternoons. Aimed at three to four-year-olds, the sessions include stories, picture books, rhymes, songs and story sacks. They may be themed on a particular topic, such as teddy bears, transport or animals. Library staff read to the group and encourage everyone - children, parents, grandparents and carers - to take part in the stories and rhymes.   

Story Time sessions are free and there is the chance to chat and exchange your library books at the end of the session.
