28/10/2004 - Neighbourhood Forum consults on the changes in health services in Brampton

The next Brampton and District Neighbourhood Forum meeting will be held in the small lecture theatre at William Howard School on Monday 1 November at 7.30pm. The main topic for the meeting will be a consultation on the options for change in North Cumbria Health Services and what the implications might be for Brampton Cottage Hospital.

Chairman of the forum, councillor Kevan Wilkinson said:

"The main item on this meeting's agenda is the options for change in North Cumbria Health Services. Some of these changes will obviously have an effect on the way services are currently provided and will have implications for Brampton Cottage Hospital. The county council urges anyone who wants to know more about this and wants to share their views to come along to this meeting."

Grant applications will also be considered at the meeting. Any groups wanting to apply for funding can get application forms from Carlisle Area Support Team on 01228 606730.
