7/12/2005 - Come and have your say at neighbourhood forum

Residents in the Yewdale area are being asked to attend the next neighbourhood forum meeting on Monday (12th) to have their say about pedestrian access to Yewdale Primary School.

Residents will be able to talk to council representatives on this and many other issues at the meeting which is due to be held at Yewdale Primary School at 6.45pm.

Local county councillor Helen Horne said:

"There are a number of issues that will be discussed at the next neighbourhood forum meeting that will be of interest to many of the local residents.  Forum meetings give residents an opportunity to talk about issues that are important to them. I would hope people take the time to come along to the meeting on Monday."

Other items on the agenda include:

1.  Waste minimisation and recycling - A representative from Carlisle City Council will give a presentation and answer questions on waste minimisation and recycling in the Carlisle area.
