Newman Catholic school remains closed for the time being. The Headteacher, John O’Neill and staff at the school are taking immediate action to ensure that they are able to resume teaching as soon as possible.
Exams scheduled for this week have been successfully switched to North Cumbria Technology College in Harraby. The Headteacher is working closely with the Lancaster Roman Catholic Diocese, the county council's Education service and other local schools in order to re-start school activities.
