Prospective brides and grooms can get a glimpse of what their weddings might be like at the first event of its kind at Carlisle Register Office tonight, Thursday 13th January.
The wedding fair, between 6pm and 9pm in the register office at 23 Portland Square, will feature four mock weddings at 6.30pm, 7pm, 7.30pm and 8pm. Models will play bride, groom, bridesmaids and ring bearer. Gowns will be provided by Monsoon.
There will also be:
·Ten local exhibitors with have displays around the ground and first floors.
·There will be a charity raffle in aid of Eden Valley Hospice.
·Representatives from licensed wedding venues will also be present to chat to brides and grooms.
·Register office staff will be on hand to give advice and take any bookings.
