Cumbria County Council is inviting residents to attend the Denton Holme and Longsowerby emergency neighbourhood forum meeting to discuss the aftermath of last weekend's floods.
The meeting will be held at St James Church on St James Road, Denton Holme on Wednesday 19th January at 10am. County and City councillors and officers as well as representatives from various agencies will be on hand to give advice to residents of Denton Holme and the surrounding areas affected by the floods.
Local county councillor for Denton Holme, Chris Southward said:
"A large proportion of residents and businesses in this area have been affected by last weekend's flood. I urge anyone who still has questions they want answered or even just some general advice to come to this meeting on Wednesday. Many of the agencies that were involved in the emergency as well as those now dealing with the recovery will be there to answer any questions and give advice, so please come along."
