11/7/2005 - Author to visit Carlisle Library

Cumbria County Council’s "Make a Noise in Libraries" fortnight continues when author Elizabeth Gill visits Carlisle Library on Wednesday 20th July, 2.00 -3.00pm. 

"Make a Noise in Libraries" events are primarily focused on promoting the range of library facilities and services available to visually impaired people. Elizabeth will talk about her novels, which are sagas set in the northern England, as many of her books are published in large print.

Peter Douglas will also visiting from Ulverscroft Publishers and will be giving a talk about books in large print as well as talking books. 

Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy an interesting and informative hour. Tickets are £1.00 and include refreshments.
