Wednesday 29th June is the next meeting of Cumbria County Council's Cabinet. They will consider a range of local and countywide issues including:
Eskdale Mill - the cabinet will be asked to agree to the sale of the mill and cottage to the Eskdale Mill and Heritage Trust.
County playing fields, Whitehaven - the cabinet will consider whether to sell the playing fields to Whitehaven Association Football Club at a discount using the council's well-being powers.
Road lighting in Barrow - the cabinet will consider a bid of £1.25m from the county council's local committee for Barrow to rectify the problems of the electricity supply cables to some of the street lighting columns in Barrow.
In additional the cabinet will consider a detailed report from the council's Health and Well-Being Scrutiny Committee about teenage health across Cumbria and a report detailing a new compliments, comments and complaints procedure.
The meeting takes place at The Courts, English Street, Carlisle beginning at 10.00am.
