13/5/2005 - Botcherby Neighbourhood Forum

The next neighbourhood forum meeting for residents in Botcherby will be held on Monday 16th May at St Cuthberts Catholic Primary School at 7pm.

The neighbourhood forum will be focusing on four issues. These are:

1. Police matters

2. Floods update

3. Fire service and home safety

4. Grant applications

County councillor Anne Glendinning, chair of the forum said:

"The next forum meeting will give residents an opportunity to air their views on issues that are important to them. We will have our local community police officer on hand to talk to residents and will be supporting community groups in the area funding various projects benefiting Botcherby residents. We will also have two guests at the next forum meeting. John Nutley from Carlisle City Council will be with us to give an update on the floods and Tracey O'Roarty from Cumbria Fire Service will be talking about new projects around home safety. I hope that as many residents take the time to attend the meeting on Monday."
