Residents in the Morton area will get feedback on the recent consultation on traffic calming on Ullswater and Windermere Roads at the next neighbourhood forum meeting.
Residents have been consulted over the last few months on the views for a traffic calming scheme to reduce the speed of traffic along the two roads and improve safety.
Local county councillor John Bell said:
"Neighbourhood forums enable communities to be involved in the issues that are important to them. We recently conducted a consultation exercise for a possible traffic calming scheme along Ullswater Road and Windermere Road to reduce speeding traffic and improve pedestrian safety. If people want to find out the results to that consultation they should come along to the meeting on Monday."
Other items on the agenda include:
Carlisle Renaissance - Representative from Carlisle City Council will make a presentation to the forum on the future plans to regenerate the city after the January floods
Police Matters - Community Police Officer PC Ian Chappell will be on hand to answer any questions
Grant applications - The neighbourhood forum will consider grant applications for voluntary sector groups across the area
