Cumbria County Council is urging drivers to take extra care this week as heavy rainfall sets to continue.
Over the last few days a large amount of leaves have fallen from trees blocking gullies resulting in more surface water standing on roads.
Drivers are advised to take appropriate care and allow extra time for their journey.
