Cumbria County Council's Neighbourhood Forum for Keswick and District will welcome Gillian Bishop, Chief Executive of Allerdale Borough Council to their meeting on Wednesday 2nd November. The meeting takes place in Southey Street Methodist Hall from 6.45pm.
Residents are invited along to hear Gillian speak about the Borough Council’s work and the services it provides. Inspector Watson will also attend to speak on Community Policing and how local residents in Keswick and District can help. The meeting also offers the opportunity to raise any other concerns that residents in the local community have.
Forum grants will also be considered to fund a number of projects in the area.
County councillor for Keswick and District Elizabeth Barraclough says:
"The neighbourhood forum aims to get local people involved in issues that are important to them and their community. The agenda is put together to address these issues but the meetings are also a forum for residents to raise other matters thatmay be concerning them. I hope people can make time to come along to the meeting on Monday."
