Residents in Stanwix will be asked for their views on the plans to regenerate Carlisle after the damaged caused by the January floods at the next county council neighbourhood forum meeting.
Jason Gooding from Carlisle City Council will present the plans for the City's re-development at the meeting on Wednesday 2nd November at Burnside Court on Rosebery Road at 7pm.
County councillor Liz Mallinson, chair of the forum said:
"This meeting will provide residents with an opportunity to hear about the proposals to regenerate the City outlining how some physical, economic and social regeneration projects could change the face of Carlisle over the next 10 years. This is a really exciting project and I hope everyone takes time to attend the meeting on Wednesday to find out more."
Other items on the agenda include:
1. Updates on young people issues and flood issues
2. Police matters - Residents can raise any issue or concern to the Local Community Police Officer
3. Grant - Applications will be considered from community groups for various community projects across the area
