Staveley Roundhouse will host the next Windermere & Staveley District Neighbourhood Forum on Tuesday 7th March, 2006 at 7.30pm.
Updates on a variety of topics raised at previous forums will head the busy agenda, including Windermere’s Jubilee Fields, Staveley Parish Plan and highways issues.
Members of Staveley Youth Club will talk about their club and its plans and Janet Antrobus will explain how Cumbria achieved a Fair Trade Award.
Gareth Thomas will talk about the National Trust’s community archaeology project and Windermere’s first ‘green’ building as well as giving an update on plans for this year's Staveley Carnival.
The final speaker from Friends of the Lake District will explain that organisation’s Open Spaces Green Spaces Project.
The Forum will also give the opportunity to swap local information and diary dates and listen to representatives from local groups applying for Forum grants.
Forums are public meetings and all are welcome. Please call 01539 773180 if you require additional information.
