23/10/2006 - Meals-on-Wheels Week photo opportunity: 250 years of volunteering for Grange team

A team of Grange-over-Sands meals-on-wheels volunteers are marking 250 combined years of volunteering on Monday 30 October.

Photographers are invited to the Berners Pool swimming pool car park in Grange-over-Sands at 2:00pm where the team of 30 volunteers will be celebrating their achievement with a giant ‘250 years’ banner and gearing up for next month’s National Meals-on-Wheels Week which runs from 6 – 12 November.
