Furness libraries are keeping in step with the need to entertain the area's youngsters during the school holidays and beyond.
Tomorrow (17 August), Barrow library is organising a special hour of storytime fun from 2:00pm to 3:00pm for children under-five and their parents.
On Thursday 23 August, it's the turn of children under-seven to get in on the action with a summertime story and craft session at Dalton library from 2:30pm to 3:30pm.
The return to school next month does not mark a let-up in Library Service activities. Starting on Monday 10 September at 4:15pm, the library's Teenage Book Club will be providing a great opportunity for young people aged 12-16 to get together once a month to enjoy some of the best teenage reads. Free refreshments are provided.
Earlier this month, a group of Barrow youngsters exchanged books for beats in a special music workshop organised by Earth Monkey Productions in the town's library.
The creative fruits of their labour can be heard in 'Song From An Open Window' - available to listen to online at: www.earthmp.com
