Cumbria County Council is calling all teenagers who love reading to come along to Barrow library's Teenage Book Club which cracks the cover on a new season of great reads on Monday 10 September, at 4:15pm.
The club, which is open to 12 to 16-year-olds, caters to a wide variety of tastes. From mysteries to comedies, true-life adventure to science fiction, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Free refreshments are provided at the club which offers a great opportunity for young people from Barrow to make new friends and get their creative juices flowing.
Barrow's Young People's Librarian Erin Stockill, said: "If you are a teenager looking for somewhere to chill out after school, then this is the club for you.
"Joining the club is free and it's a great way to meet other teenagers and share views on some the best books out there."
The club meets once each month on Monday at 4:15pm and there is no need to book. Further information is available from Barrow library on 01229-894369.
