An inquest will be held on January 8th 2008 at County Hall, Kendal into the death of Shafilea Ahmed.
The 17-year-old went missing from her hometown of Warrington, Cheshire, on 11 September 2003. Her body was found in Sedgwick by the River Kent in Cumbria on 4 February 2004.
No-one has been charged with her killing.
HM Coroner for South and East Cumbria, Ian Smith, will open the inquest at 10.30am on January 8th, with subsequent days starting at 10am.
A total of four days have been scheduled to hear evidence from 29 witnesses. If the inquest has not been concluded by January 11th, then a further week has been set aside from March 3rd to March 7th 2008.
