The acclaimed artwork of a south Cumbrian school teacher who draws inspiration from his pupils goes on display in Kendal Library later this month.
From Saturday 13 January, Rob Hardy's contemporary paintings of crowds and the individuals within them will be available for library users to enjoy.
The exhibition by the prizewinning artist, who is head of art at The Lakes School in Troutbeck Bridge, runs until Saturday 3 March.
Until then, visitors to the library will be able to examine the former Queen Katherine School pupil's work which draws on a variety of painting methods including freehand spray painting, acrylic and oil paints.
