Family Reading Fortnight starts next week (8-20 January) and to mark the event, Barrow Library is inviting children aged seven and under to pull on their pyjamas for a special bedtime story session.
Mums, dads and carers who bring their children to the town's library on Tuesday 9 January at 5:45pm will be guaranteed a riveting read from a selection of the best bedtime story books.
As well as pyjamas, children are also asked to bring along a teddy bear for the event which ends at 6:30pm - just in time for bed.
Tickets for the bedtime reading session are free and can be obtained from Barrow Library. For more information, contact Barrow Library on 01229-894370.
