The January meeting of the Lakes Neighbourhood Forum will take place at 7.30pm on Wednesday ,17th January, at the Kelsick Centre, St. Mary's Lane, Ambleside.
Before the two main speakers begin, updates will be given on issues raised at previous Forums including the Lakes Parish Plan; Lake District National Park issues; Boundary Commission; Post Office relocation; Community Minibus and Ambleside Civic Trust.
Looking to the future of Ambleside, Bill Smith of the South Lakes Development Trust, will explain the need for a Masterplan for the town, including what this will encompass, the timetable and how people can contribute to it.

Finally, there will be the opportunity to listen to representatives from local groups applying to the forum for a grant, to share or publicise any local information and raise any other issues
The Lakes Forum, which is a public meeting, serves the Lakes Wards of Ambleside, Grasmere, Langdale, Rydal & Loughrigg and Troutbeck .
