Stanwix Primary School will host the next meeting of the Stanwix Urban Neighbourhood Forum, which will be held on Wednesday 18 July at 7pm.
The meeting is an opportunity for the public to get involved with and discuss issues including an update on Stanwix Primary School and the ongoing school reorganisation and flood defences for the Etterby Terrace area. Other items on the agenda include a proposed litter pick for Stanwix, police and fire service issues, and guidance on grant applications.
Geoff Holden, the Project Manager of the Carlisle Northern Development Route, will be on hand to give progress on the new scheme and handle other general highway issues. Julie Parton from Carlisle City Council will talk about the litter pick in the Stanwix area, which will ask for residents to get involved.
Everyone is welcome, and refreshments will be made available at the end of the meeting. Subsequent forums will be held on 12 September at 7pm in Burnside Court, and on 5 December at 7pm at Stanwix Primary School.
