Great Broughton British Legion will host the next meeting of the Cockermouth & District Neighbourhood Forum on Tuesday 24 July, at 7:00pm.
The meeting gets underway with a talk from Allerdale Borough Council's Ernie Davidson on recycling in the area.
There will then be an update from Broughton Parish Council on their Village Plan.
Voluntary Action Cumbria's Helen Aitken will also be on hand to talk about Parish Plans and the work on the organisation.
There will also be the opportunity to announce local information, meeting dates etc, and to hear about recent applications for Community Grants.
