At the July meeting of the Upper Kent Neighbourhood Forum, local resident David Galbraith will give a brief overview of life in the Parish.
He will be followed Rob Kitchen of South Lakeland District Council who will explain the continuing roll out of the doorstep recycling scheme into the forum area.
Gary Wilson, Watch Manager with the Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service, will report on changes which have taken place within the service and will also cover home fire safety.
There will also be the opportunity to swap local information on meetings, events etc. and listen to representatives from local groups applying for forum grants.
The forum will start at 7.30pm on Monday, 23rd July, at Grayrigg Coronation Hall.
