The next meeting of the Grange, Cartmel & Lyth Valley Neighbourhood Forum will take place on Thursday, March 15th, in Grange CE School at 7.30pm.
The agenda includes two main speakers -
Trading Standards - the work of the Cumbria County Council's Trading Standards officers ranges from protecting the public from market malpractice and misleading information about prices and credit to combatting fraud and unsafe consumer goods and food and tackling animal welfare issues and providing consumer advice. Austin Shields will explain about these important public services and answer your questions.
Age Concern - Sue Rimmer will report on the results of recent research conducted in the Grange area.
There will also be the opportunity to listen to representatives from local groups applying to the forum for a grant, and to share or publicise any local information.
The Forum is a public meeting and everyone is welcome.
