3/5/2007 - Bootle and Seascale Neighbourhood Forum

Seascale Methodist Church Hall is the venue for the next Bootle and Seascale Neighbourhood Forum on Thursday 17 May, at 7:00pm.

The meeting gets underway with a talk from Age Concern's Emma Booth and Joanna Kirkbride on some of the initiatives the charity is undertaking to help older people in the area remain active.

Rural Greens Project outreach officer, Jo Chaffer will then take questions on green spaces and how people can find help to manage and protect them.

Cumbria County Council's Rail Officer, John Kitchen will then talk about the Community Railways Partnership.

The Forum will also be an opportunity for people to exchange local information, meeting dates etc, and to hear about recent applications for Community Grants.

Free refreshments will be available and everyone is welcome. Please call Neighbourhood Development Officer Marilyn Pritchard on 01946-855023 if you require additional information.
