Julie Tait will give a glimpse of what will be on offer at Kendal's new international street arts festival to be held from 31 August - 2 September and the benefits for Kendal and its people, at the next meeting of the Kendal Neighbourhood Forum which will take place on Wednesday 23 May, 7pm at Kendal Town Hall.
Also on the agenda, Nick Raymond, Area Engineer with Cumbria County Council, will talk about the Kendal Transport Plan and steps which are to be taken to help reduce car use and encourage more sustainable ways of getting around in Kendal.
Finally local resident, Paul Holdsworth, will talk about the 'street audit' undertaken with neighbours in the Fellside area with a view to encouraging walking and improving the environment.
There will also be the opportunity to listen to representatives from local groups applying to the Forum for a grant, and to share or publicise any local information.
The Forum is a public meeting and everyone is welcome.
