14/11/2007 - Millom Forum Neighbourhood Forum goes on its travels

Travel and healthcare are the focus of Millom’s next Neighbourhood Forum meeting which takes place on Monday 26 November.

Before the Forum starts, members of the public will have the chance to question the county council’s public transport team at a special drop-in session in the Millom Council Centre on St. George’s Road. The session runs from 2:00pm to 5:00pm with an opportunity for people to raise any public transport issues.

At 7:00pm, the Forum gets underway in the Millom Network Centre with an opportunity for people to question Peter Clarke from Cumbria Primary Care Trust about the Trust’s ‘Closer to Home’ consultation into the future of healthcare in the county.

Members of the county council's public transport team will also attending the Forum to give people a second opportunity to question them about local transport issues. 

Feedback on issues raised at previous Forums will also be given alongside an opportunity to listen to representatives from local groups applying for a grant, to share or publicise any local information and raise any other issues.
