28/11/2007 - Solway Coast Neighbourhood Forum

The future of healthcare in Cumbria is the main issue up for discussion at the next Solway Coast Neighbourhood Forum meeting which takes place on Tuesday 11 December, at 7:00pm.

Silloth Primary School is the venue for the meeting which gets underway with the chance for people to learn more about Cumbria Primary Care Trust’s ‘Closer to Home’ consultation into the future of healthcare in the county.

There will then be an update from parish councils in the Forum area on issues and activities that are coming up locally.

Applications for new community grants will also be considered and with £3,000 still available for local projects this year, the meeting will be a great opportunity for people to share their views on how this money should be spent.
