28/11/2007 - Hospital services on the agenda at Windermere & Staveley District Neighbourhood Forum

Hospital services and the Lake District National Park Authority will be on the agenda at Windermere & Staveley District Neighbourhood Forum on Wednesday, December 5th.

Matt Brown from Cumbria Primary Care Trust will provide an update on plans for service change at Westmorland General and Richard Leafe, Chief Executive of the LDNPA, will be sharing his vision for the park’s future.

The forum meeting, at St. Anne’s Church Hall at Ings, will start at 7pm, but from 6.30pm residents the have the chance to speak one-to-one to raise concerns and issues with officers from the Lake District National Park Authority, county, district and parish councils, police, town centre manager, Cumbria Primary Care Trust, University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust and the Council for Voluntary Service.

The forum itself will begin at 7pm with feedback from previous meetings and updates from the Lake District National Park Authority, the town centres manager and Staveley and Ings Parish Council.

The forum will also provide an opportunity to swap local information and diary dates and to hear representatives from local groups applying for forum grants.
