28/11/2007 - Workington Central Neighbourhood Forum

St. Michael’s Church in Workington is the venue for the next meeting of the Workington Central Neighbourhood Forum which gets underway on Thursday 6 December, at 7:00pm.

Topping the agenda will be a presentation on proposals for a new Workington Transport Interchange. Located next to the town’s railway station, the proposed scheme would provide a high quality interchange for buses.

Dave Edgar from Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service will then talk about the precautions householders should take to reduce their risk of fire over the Christmas period.

Finally, representatives from Allerdale Borough Council will be on hand to explain and discuss planning policy and how it affects conservation areas.
