Cockermouth's Kirkgate Centre will host the next meeting of the Cockermouth and District Neighbourhood Forum on Tuesday 16 October, at 7:00pm.
The meeting gets underway with the chance for people to let Allerdale Borough Council have their views on waste collection, recycling and street cleaning services in the area.
Dave Edgar from Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service will then talk and take questions on work firefighters are doing on fire prevention and road safety in Cockermouth and the surrounding area.
Cheryl Cowperthwaite and Caroline Watson from Cumbria County Council will also be on hand to talk about local passenger transport services.
There will also be the opportunity to announce local information, meeting dates etc, and to hear about recent applications for Community Grants.
