Aikton Village Hall is the venue for the next Bowness, Thursby & Caldbeck Neighbourhood Forum which takes place on Wednesday 30 January, at 7:00pm.
Topping the agenda will be a chance to tell the county council how local library services can be made even better in villages and other rural areas. People will also be able to suggest and comment upon new mobile library routes which will be introduced from 1 April.
There will then be an opportunity to learn more about the public consultation into whether the Cumberland Infirmary and West Cumberland Hospital should become part of a NHS Foundation Trust.
In addition to these items, there will be feedback on issues raised at previous Forums and an opportunity to listen to representatives from local groups applying to the forum for a grant, to share or publicise any local information and raise any other issues.
Free Fairtrade refreshments will be available and everyone is welcome. Please call Pat Ackred on 01900-325013 if you require additional information.
