28/1/2008 - Windermere town centre enhancement scheme

Cumbria County Council will be resurfacing Windermere’s A591/Station junction from Tuesday 29th to Wednesday 30th January inclusive.

During the resurfacing, three-way traffic lights will be in operation and some disruption to traffic is expected. The traffic lights are expected to be removed by Thursday (31 January) when road-markings will be applied to the resurfaced section of road.

The work is the latest phase in the council's Windermere town centre enhancement scheme.
