Keekle Mission is the venue for the next Arlecdon and Frizington Neighbourhood Forum on Monday 14 July, at 6:30pm.
The meeting gets underway with a presentation from Copeland Borough Council’s deputy leader, councillor Alan Holliday, on the Government’s White Paper, Managing Radioactive Waste Safely.
Cumbria County Council’s public transport officer Caroline Watson will then talk about Rural Wheels, a community scheme that provides door-to-door transport at a reasonable cost.
Feedback on issues raised at previous Forums will also be given, plus an opportunity to listen to representatives from local groups applying to the forum for a grant, to share or publicise any local information and raise any other issues.
Free refreshments will be available and everyone is welcome. Please contact Maria Lenney at the county council’s Neighbourhood Forum team for more information on 01946-505019.
