A vision for the Lake District National Park is top of the agenda at the next meeting of the Lakes Neighbourhood Forum at the Kelsick Centre in Ambleside on Monday, June 9th.
"The vision for the National Park and you" is the title of a presentation to the forum by Richard Leafe, Chief Executive of the Lake District National Park Authority, in which he will explain his vision for the future and ways in which the national park is changing in response to local, national and global factors.
The forum meeting will also feature feedback on local projects including the Ambleside cycle route; a police update; Lakes Parish Council report; Grasmere parking referral feedback; National Trust local activity update and National Park update.
Before the forum itself starts at 7.30pm, Paul Holdsworth, Town Centres Manager, will be available from 6.30pm to7.30pm to explain and discuss the Waterhead Feasibility Study. An exhibition based on this report is currently on display in Ambleside Library.
The Lakes Forum is on Monday, 9th June, 7.30pm at the Kelsick Centre, St. Mary’s Lane, Ambleside. It is a public meeting and everyone is welcome.
