31/10/2008 - Hardwicke Circus traffic lights extended for weekend Christmas shopping

The part-time weekday traffic lights at Hardwicke Circus in Carlisle will operate at the weekends from this Saturday (1 November 2008).

The move is to help traffic flow in the area during the busier shopping period in the run up to Christmas.

On both Saturdays and Sundays the lights will be on between 11am and 3pm.

On weekdays they are on from 7.30am - 9.30am and 3pm - 6.30pm.
