Ulverston Library is hosting a rhyme, story and song session inspired by popular children’s television programme the Green Balloon Club.
Taking place between 10.30am and 11.30am on Thursday (July 30), the free event is aimed at children aged six and under –and their parents or guardians.
It will feature stories, singing and rhymes with a nature theme and children will also have the chance to make their very own butterfly to take home.
As well as enjoying stories and songs, the youngsters will get a goody bag including a tee-shirt, story book and stickers. The bag also includes a booklet for adults with suggestions about doing their bit for nature.
The Green Balloon Club is shown on the Cbeebies channel and teaches youngsters about nature and the world around them.
With limited places available, anybody interested in attending Thursday’s event should secure their place by collecting free tickets from Ulverston Library.
