30/6/2009 - Road closure - B6259 near Appleby this weekend

Motorists are advised that the B6259 at Sandford south of Appleby will be closed for three days from midnight this Thursday (2nd July 2009.)

A short diversion will be in operation via Warcop.

The road is due to reopen in the early hours of Monday (6th July 2009.)

The reason for the closure is a simulated major transport collision.
