Author, fell-walking enthusiast and Wainwright admirer - Alan Nolan - will be stopping off at a number of libraries in Cumbria this June to discuss his new book whilst walking the Coast to Coast path
'Ancient Feet' is a non-fiction book about a group of older men –The Old Spice Boys –who follow Alfred Wainwright’s Coast to Coast walk across the north of England which runs from St Bees Head in Cumbria to Robin Hood’s Bay in Yorkshire.
Alan will be stopping off at Keswick, Ambleside and Penrith libraries to talk about his book, the coast to coast walk and the things he found he has in common with his hero Alfred Wainwright.
The library events are as follows:
- Keswick Library - 1st June, 7.15pm
- Ambleside Library –2nd June, 6pm
- Penrith Library –4th June, 7pm
Books will be available to buy and the author will do signing sessions. Tickets cost 75p including refreshments and are available from the libraries.
