All school closures in Cumbria confirmed for today (Thurs.) Please note the status of individual schools is subject to change.

The procedure in place for school closures is for the schools to contact BBC Radio Cumbria directly. This is so the information can get to the public as quickly as possible. BBC put this information on air every morning and maintain a very effective website with the information on it. Please check BBC Radio Cumbria for very latest updates.
