Cumbria County Councillor Bert Richardson, chair of Eden local committee, said: "I’m delighted that this money will go into the community to help our future generations. It can sometimes be difficult for groups to secure funding for projects that can often make a real difference in the local community, and we are very proud of the support we are able to give.
"The county council is committed to improving services and facilities for everyone in Cumbria, and this local committee is very proud to be able to support so many groups who are working towards the same goal in Eden."
