Committee Agendas

Some minor planning and Listed Building Consent Applications can be dealt with by delegated powers by the Head of Environment.   All other applications are reported to the County Council's Development Control and Regulation Committee (DC&R) for decision.  

All decisions, including delegated decisions, and copies of the Decision Notice are published on this website at the time the decision notice is issued. Below is a list of criteria that would result in an application being reported to the County Council's Development Control and Regulation Committee (DC&R) for decision rather than being delegated.

• Development which would have a significant impact outside the site boundary 
• Applications that would result in an extension in the period of the planning permission
• Applications accompanied by an Environmental Statement  OR where one is required
• Applications advertised as a departure  from Development Plan Policy
• Applications where a consultee has raised an objection or there has been a representation raising a relevant planning objection that cannot be resolved or dealt with by planning condition on any permission   
• Applications where a written request from a local member or a member of the Committee for a referral of an application to Committee has been received 
• Applications submitted by a member or employee of the authority

Copies of the DC&R Committee Agendas, Schedules and individual reports for the individual applications can also be found via the link below.  These are made available 5 days before each committee.  Minutes of the DC&R Committees are made available within a week of the meeting.
