MRWS Soundings Responses

At the end of July 2008 a "soundings" letter was sent by the Chief Executive of Cumbria County Council to local partners and key stakeholders.  Responses received between August and October were used to inform a decision by Cabinet about whether to express interest in the Government’s programme to identify a site for deep geological disposal of higher activity radioactive wastes.
