A draft Cumbria ROWIP was published in August 2006 and was available for public consultation until the end of September. The full Cumbria ROWIP was published in May 2007.
The draft ROWIP can still be downloaded by using the links below. Some spare printed copies are still available to post out, please telephone 01228 221022 with your address. The draft ROWIP is also available in other formats and languages on request.
Responses to the draft ROWIP
The draft ROWIP was open for public consultation in August and September 2006. Over 700 comments on the draft were received, from 130 individuals and organisations! You can still download below a copy of the response to the comments, together with the proposed actions.
These points were taken on board and incorporated into the final ROWIP which was published in May 2007. Many of the respondees for example, made the point that a single statement of action would be more consistent, and this has subsequently been replicated in the published ROWIP.
