My 24/7 card runs out on 31 March 2012, how do I renew it?
You will receive a letter during February 2012 asking you to confirm that you are still eligible.   Once you have returned the tear-off slip confirming this you will receive your new card for use from 1 April 2012.  

What shall I do with my old card?
Your old card cannot be used after 31 March 2012. You should destroy your old card after that date.

I have a Disabled NoWcard, do I qualify for a 24/7 Disability Card?
If you need to access work, including un-paid work, training or day-care services before 9.30am you will qualify.

How do I get a 24/7 Card?
You can download an application formthis document will open in a new window here. Alternatively you can call 01228 226720 and we will post a form to you, or you can get one from Barrow, Carlisle, Kendal, Penrith, Whitehaven or Workington Libraries, Alston, Kirkby Stephen or Ulverston Local Links.

The cardholder is still in full time education under 16 years of age, are they eligible for the 24/7 Disability NoWcard?
No, this scheme does not entitle under 16s to free travel to full time education establishments.
