The Consumer Direct website gives advice on goods and services, consumer issues, your rights, and how to make a complaint. It also provides 'pre-shopping' advice.
The Trading Standards Central website includes a range of advice leaflets to help you understand your rights as a consumer. It also contains product recalls and details of telephone and mail preference services, where you can register to stop receiving unwanted sales call and unsolicited mail.
