In the last issue we invited YourCumbria readers to tell us what they thought of the magazine. Almost 400 of you took the opportunity to give us your opinion. Thanks to all those who did, your feedback really is important. 

The survey found that 78% of respondents agreed that at 18p per copy per home YourCumbria represented good value for money. Similarly 81% agreed that the information in YourCumbria was useful. We found that the A-Z directory was the most highly regarded part of the magazine, with 75% rating it great or good. We need to keep working on getting good stories though, with only 53% rating them great or good. We also asked for your thoughts on changes to the magazine. 

The survey suggests that there is growing support for moving to 6 issues of YourCumbria a year, the proportion of people who felt this was a good idea grew from 41% in 2008 to 49% this year. There is also strong support for more information about consultations and how you can have your say on council services. We’re taking all your comments on board so look out for further improvements in the next edition.
